Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Bosch is a premium refrigerator brand with an established reputation for producing high-quality appliances. Their counter-depth French-door models are flush with your countertop for an elegant design. The refrigerators are quiet and efficient and include smart-home features that let you control the fridge using your phone or tablet. The fridge is large enough to hold space for leftovers and food items. This model has an ice maker that produces fresh, filtered ice on the spot. It's simple to use and it's also easy to use. The dispensers for water and ice are within the refrigerator, not on the front. This way they don't ruin the sleek exterior. The dispensers can be used with any cold beverage, including sports drinks and juice. This refrigerator is constructed of an extremely durable stainless-steel material that resists scratches. It's fingerprint-resistant, too. If you're worried about smudges, think about a solution to clean your home that eliminates fingerprints without harsh chemicals.

The refrigerator offers 20.5 cubic feet of space inside and includes Bosch's patented FarmFresh System with four cutting-edge freshness technology to keep veggies, fruits and leftovers in good condition for three times longer than average. Its freezer temperatures are also close to perfect, ranging no more than a fraction off of the ideal.

Although the Bosch refrigerator is more expensive than the GE Appliances model, it has more features that make it worth the extra cost. It has a door in door storage area where you can keep small quantities of food items in a bin that can be placed right inside the fridge door. It also comes with a convertible compartment that has five temperature settings for different types of drinks, snacks and meat. The Bosch fridge has a smart home feature called Home Connect that lets you manage it remotely via your tablet or phone.

The only negatives to this fridge are the weak main fridge drawer and the hard-to-use right main door latch. The fridge is an excellent choice for single households and kitchenettes that need more storage space than a standard French-door fridge can offer. The stainless steel finishes any kitchen beautifully.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

LG counter-depth fridges are compact and offer plenty of space. They're also priced more affordably than many standard-depth French door refrigerators and eliminate the necessity for a separate, smaller under-counter freezer. The LG Smart Mirror InstaView Counter-Depth Refrigerator (LMWC23626S) is a refrigerator that has the capacity of a standard fridge in a sleek and modern design, isn't an exception. It also features an internal dispenser that gives easy access to filtered drinking water.

This model's exterior showcases a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and a mirrored InstaView panel that adds to the modern look of the interior. The door bins are spacious of space, and the top shelf can be folded down to create a half-depth shelf that can accommodate larger items. A set of crisper drawers can be found located in the lower part of the refrigerator and the deli drawer with a full width is suitable for meat or produce.

A recessible ice maker is located on the back wall of the refrigerator, which helps to save space and allows you to store an additional bag of ice. The refrigerator is equipped with a door cooling system that uses vents on the fridge and freezer doors to push cold air in. It helps to prevent hot spots and helps keep temperatures more consistent throughout the refrigerator.

This LG refrigerator stood out during our tests. It offers ample space to serve a family, but we found a few annoying flaws. The freezer drawers are not as cold as we'd like. The middle drawer reached 41 degrees during our maximum usage test which is warm enough for ice cream and other frozen foods. The temperature in the rest of your freezer was at around 36 degrees.

Another issue is that refrigerator doors have sunken handles both on the inside and under, which make it hard for people who are shorter to comfortably guide them closed. It may seem trivial but we prefer front-mounted handles on refrigerators to make them easier to open and shut.

This fridge is expensive but it's worth it for anyone who wants an elegant appearance in their kitchen. We recommend this fridge for those who want to upgrade their current refrigerator, or for those who are building a new house and want a more integrated style for their kitchen.

Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Samsung's latest counter-depth French-door refrigerator, the RF23M8090SG, is priced at $4200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performs well in our cooling tests, but we're not a fan of its gimmicky polygon handles and the crisper bins appear a bit fragile.

One thing that sets the RF23M8090SG apart is its Bespoke line that lets you personalize your fridge by removing colored panels that can be swapped when you're tired of the current ones. There are 11 colors to choose from including soft pastels, more vibrant hues, and four metallic finishes. Some of the panels can be customized with text or photos making the fridge a personal touch point that can match your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign.

You can also alter the color of the refrigerator's LED lighting, which is pretty. The interior of the refrigerator features an intelligent finish that reduces the chance of smudges, and also makes cleaning simpler. The RF23M8090SG's only real knocks are its slightly cramped beverage center and some learning curve when it comes to opening the door-in-door feature that houses a water pitcher as well as a dispenser. You need to look for an unmarked lever on the side of the door that is halfway across, and once you've done that the lever, it opens another door inside the fridge that contains the docking station for pitchers, the water dispenser and two shelves for drinks.

The 6.8 cubic-foot freezer compartment is big enough to accommodate a large amount of frozen food items and features an impressive slide-out drawer system that allows you to access the food you're looking for without opening the whole compartment. There's also a butter bin-style compartment in the freezer for easy storage of small items, and a large capacity drawer which can store larger frozen items. The drawer can be locked with a password, so that anyone who isn't a good fit is kept out. It also has an LED that lets you see what's inside at a glance. The freezer can also track the energy consumption and help you lower your power bills by with the SmartThings Energy Mode.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

French door refrigerators give a sleek design to any kitchen, and are a good fit in different sizes of rooms. Counter-depth refrigerators are a great option for those who want this style but without the height. We've tested many of them, and this particular Frigidaire model has earned an above-average score in our rating system for its affordable price and thoughtful features such as an adjustable temperature drawer.

But it also has a couple of nagging problems. Our test data shows the FGHB2866PF can warm up quite often in the freezer, and can become uncomfortable hot in the hottest shelves of the fridge. Our heat maps show how the temperature fluctuates minute by minute. The orange area in the upper right, which represents the butter bin, has been particularly warm throughout our time of testing. It might not seem to be a problem at first however, the fridge spends the majority of its time at 32 degrees.

It's worth noting that this model isn't Energy Star certified, which could be important to certain buyers. However, the main issue is that it's just not a particularly great fridge, and the absence of top-of-the-line features and durable construction make it hard to recommend over more expensive options in this price range.

In many ways, the Frigidaire is a stainless-steel version of a fridge you might see in your local appliances store. It's a safe choice with a polished finish that looks nice and is resistant to smudges, but it doesn't stand out or distinguish itself from competitors that are more feature-rich and less expensive.

If  french door refrigerator freezer  looking for a cheap counter-depth French door refrigerator but don't have the funds to splurge on our best selections, then the FGHC2331PF is worth a look. It's got enough storage for many families, and is able to keep food fresh. And even if it isn't an energy-efficient model, it won't have the same price tag as much as our highest-rated models do.
